Our client is an international pharmaceutical and diagnostics company, managing a fleet across two group entities.

The Challenge

The group managed its fleet across two entities, using two different financing models. Key processes were heavily dependent on a single person, and the organization lacked consistent reporting, KPIs, and cost transparency.

What We Do

  • Analysis of the complete fleet documentation, covering over 30 groups of documents and contracts.

  • Interviews across fleet management, procurement, finance, HR, and insurance.

  • Observation of operational processes, from vehicle purchase through to claims handling.

  • Process mapping, a responsibility matrix, and a risk register.

Results

  • 15 fleet processes mapped across both entities.

  • No cost justification found for running two parallel financing models.

  • Key supplier relationships identified as running without competitive tendering.

Summary

The project delivered a documented picture of how the fleet operates across both entities, together with a register of operational, legal, and financial risks. It forms the basis for the next stage: benchmarking and recommendations to standardize the fleet management model.
