Our client is a manufacturer and distributor of seeds for the gardening industry.

The Challenge

The company had decided to implement a warehouse management system, since the warehouse was running on paper documentation and employee know-how, which generated errors. The client needed an independent assessment of whether the system delivered by an external vendor performed in line with the implementation contract.

What We Do

  • Analysis of the implementation contract and the pre-implementation analysis document.

  • An on-site verification visit and hands-on testing of the system.

  • Checking functionality on both desktop and mobile devices for multiple users.

  • Preparation of a formal, signed report to serve as evidence in the relationship with the vendor.

Results

  • A lack of access to operational functions demonstrated despite successful login.

  • Inability to log into the test environment for all users.

  • A formal finding of non-compliance between the implementation and the contract.

Summary

We acted as an independent expert protecting the client's interests in its relationship with the software vendor. The documented report gave the client grounds to enforce the terms of the implementation contract and pursue its rights.
