Our client is a furniture manufacturer and distributor with its own distribution warehouse.

The Challenge

The client needed a transparent bonus scheme for warehouse staff and the warehouse manager that would motivate more efficient work and improve operational metrics. Some of the required metrics had not previously been tracked in any system.

What We Do

  • Development of a concept and final bonus program for warehouse roles and the manager position.

  • Design of a capped bonus structure, settled monthly.

  • Definition of operational metrics with payout thresholds.

  • Identification of the need for a digital tool to log activities.

Results

  • A bonus model reaching up to 25 percent of base salary.

  • Defined KPI thresholds making payout conditional on performance above 98 percent.

  • A catalog of scored tasks linked to the warehouse's operational goals.

Summary

A ready-to-implement, transparent, and capped bonus scheme tied to the warehouse's operational KPIs was delivered. The engagement also identified a necessary precondition: a digital logging system, without which some metrics cannot be tracked.
